╰☆╮°.¸.·´¯`Burn Fast & Diamond Shine´¯`·.¸.°╰☆╮

Since Christmas just passed I'm sure you've been seeing pictures and text posts on the gifts that all your company received being posted on to their blogs/social sites.

I've been seeing a few here and there and while most just blended....or I just scrolled past....

There was one post a friend made that caught my eye She posted a picture that I almost scrolled past but the caption said "After burning my candle all day I finally got my ring."

So I enlarged the picture which was a side-by-side collage of a candle and an image of her hand with a pretty ring. The candle holder had the brand's name on it so I pulled up the site to learn more....

Inspired by an hard worked for anniversary ring and a rushed stop to get a gift bag to a store lacking them so a candle in it's place an idea was born!

Diamond Candles is just as the sign above states are, natural soy, candles with rings at the bottom.

So when that sad moment when your candle is at it's end you get a sweet surprise instead of just an empty holder!

The rings vary from $10 to $1,000, you'll never know and when I asked my friend she said it doesn't the value of the ring at all, but to me that doesn't matter I'm not looking for worth with this cute idea~

Sadly, though the ring size is also a mystery with the most common being between 6-8 and the site at the moment does not seem to be looking into adding a ring size option to their order form so there is a likely chance you won't get a ring that fits.

And the most important thing? The candles only retail at 24.95 (not including taxes and S&H + a sad note they do not ship internationally)

Scent wise they do carry a wide selection with 39 scents listed on their site on the moment (Please note that all scents may not be stocked)

My Scent Wishlist

I tend to lean towards food scented candles, more recently it has been nutty scents like walnut where it used to be buttercream and scents, but occasionally I'll find "nature" scented candles I enjoy

Resolution a go~go~ !!!

It's that time of year again! Those last three months really seemed to fly right by didn't they?

And so today's post is my New Year's Resolution!

  • New hair cut - ideas choppy layers, ombre colors, asymmetrical fringe
  • Constant nailart
  • Make up daily
  • A better improved skincare system
  • New fashion
  • Gym membership
  • New diet
  • Circle lens
  • Piercings
  • Tattoos
  • Lose 20.87kgs
  • GED
  • Driver's license
Most of my resolutions are tiny and frivolous because I feel if you add to many serious goals you'll set yourself up for some serious disappointment also it's best to avoid time limits for the same reason!

I even expect myself not to accomplish some of my larger goals with in the year, even though I hope to do so, because they need time to be spent on them and not to be rushed for the best outcome.

My Crazy Quest to Find MUA Sources

I drove myself crazy the other day while trying to find sources for make up looks all because of this Facebook page that takes pictures and posted them w/o crediting the MUA, it's also not the only page like that on Facebook as I found out (kind of figured) while trying to find sources. There also tons of blogs that do the same on this site guess the story never changes

I was chasing this one image for like 45mins on the trail of what I thought was the source which in the end it wasn't. but then I was so frustrated I just clicked on a Pinterest link and lo there was the link to the MUA's blog, I really could have cried at that point.

The good that came out of it though is that I found some great new MUA's to follow

I'm thinking of adding a masterlist of all the MUA's I follow in the feature, whether I'll feature it on this site as a page or on Tumblr I'm not sure yet maybe both,  but in the meantime feel free to check out my Tumblr tag cosmetics.

Moral of the story I hate when things are not sourced

Painting Two Rooms

My two rooms that need painting are:

A large room that is very oddly shaped with ceiling that flows right into the slanted wall, attic room, and is all painted a butter cream yellow kind of color which isn't terrible but kinda of boring. It also features a dark green, lovely soft, carpet that is to be left alone.

A mid sized bathroom cover in two different sets of wallpaper (midway it changes to a different one), which I will be stripping, and some white paint. The flooring being a gaudy pink color carpet which unfortunately also has to be left alone, covering it in rugs or carpet squares is the plan here.

The problem being though is that I have no idea what the paint plan is I have no idea which to chose!

The ideas being:

  1. Mori: dark natural tones, natural themed furniture, inspired nature decor, upcycle deer horn mounts
  2. Dolly/Cult party: more rich tones, antique dark wood furniture, tassels, velvet like fabrics
  3. Pop: bright colors, bubbly shapes, white furniture, lots of fun items
  4. Melting: paint done like melting ice cream/sweets, furniture that reminds of ice cream/sweets toppings
  5. Shabby chic: white antiqued paint and furniture, light aged colors added with decor, antique simple decor
  6. Creepy cute: eyeballs or bats some creepy design done on wall in cute pastels, decor of cute and creepy mix, bloody hand as ring holder but on v-heart shaped table
As you see my paint will tie the entire rooms theme together, you can also see my ideas are a crazy jams mess

Since my rooms carpet is going to stay the dark green I was leaning towards the mori or dolly/cult theme for there, really on the mori, but I also really love melty designs so much that I kind of want to use it as well and I'm not feeling it for the bathroom which I was leaning more towards the shabby or creepycute.

Painting is such a hard job~

ෆ⃛ (๑’ᴗ’๑)۶✐¯:.*೨✧

When in title doubt put a cute emoji~

Today is just a little update on the blog layout again as you can see I added a lot more info in the side bar

  • Translate gadget
  • Follow Me: Find me on other sites I visit
  • Contact info
  • Search gadget
  • pageview counter
I also added a back to the top shooter which appears as this cake on the lower right side of your screen so now you won't have to scroll all the way back up if need be.

Today wasn't very productive either then that, I haven't been feeling very well as of late mainly my stomach problems coming full circle because I've been neglectful, so I ended up sleeping for most of the day

I really need/want to start taking better care of myself I don't eat properly or at all and I have such a hard time getting myself to drink water because I want to drink soda, "I am my own worst enemy. / Old habits die hard."

What has really set me off on this kick is seeing posts from people like Lorina's (aprilfoolromance) and Sara Mari's (Momentslikediamonds) no one told them they had to do anything.

They decided what they wanted and went for it.

Both succeeded in the most amazing ways. I'm very inspired by their will power and honesty.

If you haven't checked out their posts, you should.

★ ~☆ ~★☆~Happy Halloween~★ ☆ ★ ☆

I know I'm a.....little late  but I wanted to wish everyone a happy and safe Halloween!

I'm not doing anything this year because of a recent move, ill planing.

Also the fact that our township does our Trick or Treating on the Thursday right before Halloween  and it irritates me because it really kills the spirit in the holiday and even more so in myslef while also being very pointless we live in a small, very small like no we're here don't blink or you'll miss us on the highway, town so it's not like we have a high danger factor here so (○`ε´○)

I made a semi small post on Tumblr with some Halloween graphics I have collected over the years but oddly enough I don't have very many saved  I thought I had more then that with all the pixels I have but anyways here is the link to that post if you are interested

Also today I learned a term for something I've seen for years but never once came across the term

Shiro-Nuri.

More you know section of this post I guess
